About the event
Join our Visible Mending Circle, a relaxed and supportive session where you can learn how to repair and revive your own clothing and textiles. This practical workshop invites you to bring along damaged items from home and develop the skills needed to mend them in creative and visible ways.
Guided by experienced facilitators, you will explore a range of simple hand sewing techniques that can be used to repair tears, reinforce worn areas and extend the life of your garments. The focus is on visible mending, celebrating repair as part of the story of a piece rather than hiding it. You will leave with both improved skills and a renewed sense of confidence in caring for your belongings.
Please note that this is a hands-on session and you must bring your own clothing or fabric items to work on during the workshop.
